    Description

    JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision of all budgeting, forecasting, analysis, weekly and ad-hoc reporting for Net Passenger Ticket Revenue for the Oceania Cruises Brand. Manage a team that oversees daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reporting; working closely with the Accounting department to manage the monthly reconciliation process. Deliver annual, and quarterly booking goals for the brand and its respective distribution channels which will be used to create incentives and align booking velocity to revenue management pacing.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop annual/quarterly gross and net booking targets with revenue share distribution across all revenue generating departments of Oceania Cruises. Coordinate goal discussions across various brand departments such as Outbound, National Accounts, International, etc.
    • Work closely with Revenue Management on the creation of the Net Ticket Revenue budget/forecast.
    • Oversee Oceania Cruises' SG&A budgeting and forecast process. Work closely with each department in the creation of the annual budget, monthly variance tracking, and quarterly forecast updates.
    • Prepare and load Net Ticket Revenue and SG&A budget/forecasts to Hyperion Planning at the individual GL account level.
    • Manage monthly reconciliation process of the budget/forecast against actual results by serving as a partner and key point of contact to Accounting. Work closely with Accounting team to understand P&L impacts of various decisions/initiatives/promotions.
    • Work with Data Warehouse and Enterprise Analytics teams to ensure that all information is properly processed in the various reports that are distributed daily/monthly/quarterly. Manages any changes/automation of all revenue reporting. Serves as primary sign-off on any testing of new reports.
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data by building a solid understanding of the various systems used across the company including NVS, Fidelio, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Planning, etc.
    • Lead and supervise a team of analysts responsible for the preparation of the daily and weekly revenue reporting process including the detail voyage performance review as well as monthly adjustments that are made to cost assumptions.
    • Present financial projections and/or actual results to executive leadership as necessary.
    • Lead change management calls and supervise coordination across Finance, Accounting, Revenue Management, and IT groups while monitoring any changes in the reservations system and assessing all financial impacts associated to these changes.
    • Model out various cost savings/revenue generating initiatives using assumptions and historical data as needed.
    • Perform other job related duties as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

    FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of finance experience in a large organization. Experience interacting with senior leadership in various departments across the organization. Experience building complex financial models using significant datapoints.

    COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with data querying skills is required.
    • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Hyperion Essbase and Oracle Financial Systems or the equivalent is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to manage and organize large quantities of data and put them in a presentable format also a must.
    • Self-starter, inquisitive and analytically minded. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels and across all functions in the organization. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations.
    • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Working knowledge of basic financial statements and their relationships to one another.
