    Join GEICO's Legal team in a dynamic and fast-paced role! As the Director, Cyber Attorney, reporting directly to the VP, Legal Officer for Privacy, Cyber, AI, you will be instrumental in offering legal counsel and strategic insights on cyber and technology matters at GEICO. Collaborate with senior management and teams to address intricate cross-functional challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal guidance on global and state cyber and insurance laws, including breach response
    • Offer support for risk assessments and cybersecurity remediation activities
    • Assist in creating or revising cybersecurity policies and procedures
    • Participate in developing training and exercises to enhance cybersecurity awareness
    • Advise on cyber clauses in contracts with vendors
    • Support other legal aspects of the company's cybersecurity initiatives as required

    Qualifications:

    • JD or Law Degree required
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Corporate legal settings, with a focus on cyber and technology laws

    Location:

    • Hybrid role, on-site 3 days per week in Chevy Chase, MD or New York, NY

    Annual Salary

    $90, $141,000.00

    The salary range provided is indicative. It is determined based on various factors such as job scope, candidate's experience, and market conditions.
