Screen Printing Select, Inc. is looking to hire immediately for a seasonal Production Assistant. This position will help cover simple responsibilities while we have increased work over the summer months.

Hours are flexible during our working hours and will be scheduled on a weekly basis to fit our needs and your availability.

Job Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in organizing pre-production and post-production items to ensure our Apparel Decorators can run each job correctly and efficiently.

Tasks will include; receiving and checking in orders, staging garments for production, providing garment quality control at our cure oven, monitoring accuracy of each order after production is completed, and handling packages for outgoing shipments.

Employee will work in coordination with other Production Assistants under the Apparel Decorators, and will report to the Production Manager.

The duties of this position include:

• Maintain a basic understanding of our shop software to read work orders and retrieve any information or assigned tasks related to each specific job
• Receive and organize orders delivered by UPS and other carriers
• Stage orders for Apparel Decorators by stacking the shirts for upcoming jobs on a cart in the Decorator's desired orientation
• Retrieve garments as they are coming out of the cure oven while also checking for quality and accuracy
• Immediately communicate any print defects to the Apparel Decorators during production
• Ensure each print is properly cured by preforming frequent quality checks
• Fold/Bag/Sizelabel garments as requested by client
• Package garments neatly to provide pleasant presentation of each customer's order
• Measure and weigh packages assigned for shipment
• Assist Apparel Decorators in maintaining a clean work environment by cleaning equipment and organizing supplies
• Communicate supply needs to Production Manager to avoid shortages or delays in production
