Job Title:
ReStore Warehouse Associate

Position Description: The Warehouse Associate assists with warehouse and store duties as assigned, and is responsible for monitoring the materials brought into the warehouse, preparing them for and delivering them onto the sales floor. Materials include everything from large appliances and furniture to delicate fine china. The Associate also assists on our vehicles with donation pick ups as well as occasionally driving box truck and forklift as needed. The Associate works as a member of a warehouse team, composed of paid and volunteer staff.

Time Schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt position, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.


Salary Range:
$ $21.00 per hour


Benefits:

Eleven paid holidays per year, one sick day per month, 80 hours of paid vacation, participation in Kaiser Health Plan.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Must be certified to operate a forklift or willing to train to be certified.
  • Qualified to occasionally drive box truck as needed, preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and walk on cement floors for up to four hours uninterrupted in a crowded warehouse / retail facility.
  • Adheres to occupational safety guidelines.
  • Possesses basic computer skills.
  • Assists in training temporary workers and volunteers.
  • Possesses interpersonal skills, utilizes diplomacy and tact when interacting with customers, volunteers, and fellow staff members.
  • Able to pass preemployment screening
  • Performs additional ReStore duties and tasks as required and assigned.
