Long Term (36 Months contract):



Pay rate: $19.20/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Helping people advocate for and access resources they need to support their recovery.
  • Participating in the treatment team under supervision of a trained behavioral health specialist
  • Bringing their personal experiences to decisions about program and policy development e) Participating in community engagement activities to promote treatment and support services.
  • Perform services on site at District Court locations or remotely, when possible, as requested Monday through Friday (between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm).
  • Developing recovery plans, coping methods, and rehabilitation strategies with the client.
  • Arranging medical appointments, therapy sessions, support groups, and other resources to aid the client.
  • Monitoring the client's behavior, schedule, medication, and activities.
  • Reporting any unusual behavior, conflicts, or recovery deviations to the relevant professionals.
  • Liaising with family members and medical professionals regularly.
  • Coordinating the client's logistics such as medical appointments and therapy sessions, among others.
  • Conducting assessments and providing feedback to the client, medical professionals, and the family.
  • Generating recovery reviews and performance documents to track the rehabilitation process.

$19.20 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Personal Care, Home Health, Home Care,
Medical Records: 3 years (required)

  • Patient Care, Medication Administration ,
Social Work: 3 years (required)


License/Certification:

  • Peer specialist or peer recovery specialist (required)
  • Forensic specialist (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Washington, DC required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Washington, DC 20002: Relocate before starting work (required)
