Training Coordinator
One (1) Full-Time/Non-Exempt/$21.00-$27.30 per hour (DOE)

Pay differentials offered - must qualify through testing or verification for the following special competencies.

*Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish ($1.00 per hour) *Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($1.00 per hour)

The Training Coordinator oversees the coordination and administration of the training department, including participating in aligning the department activities to each contract and county, ensuring trainings are scheduled and attendance is maximized, serving as a communication liaison between trainers and department leadership, strategically market/promote trainings, establishing key relationships with partners and stakeholders to secure community-wide participation, take a leadership role in hosting community-wide presentations sourcing innovative speakers and authors, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and implementing improvements as needed.

This role assists in the development, auditing and updating of training curricula that algin with organizational goals and industry standards and supports the implementation of new training technologies or methodologies.

Overall, the Training Department Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of training programs and supporting the organization's learning and development objectives.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout. Clear background check w/ DOJ, CACI, FBI. Must be CPR & First Aid Certified. TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This position may work within ALL other agency programs, consistent with their scope of practice, on a as needed basis.

In addition, may require an occasional flexible work schedule to meet the individualized needs of each client.
