Required Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience in a school, university or office setting.
  • Strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Work experience that required strong skills in organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking work assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills as evidenced by experience in preparing accurate documents.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain composure when working under pressure.
  • Experience working with electronic documents (creating, updating, saving).
  • Experience working with large amounts of data.
  • Experience working with all levels of work colleagues and the public that required excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience at a Coordinator or higher level.
  • Knowledge of hiring practices.
  • Experience maintaining websites, including writing and editing website content.
  • Prior work in higher education.
  • Familiarity with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • The Coordinator of Nursing Program Services is responsible for coordinating and carrying out administrative projects and assignments in the St. David's School of Nursing.
    Job Duties
  • Coordinating the student evaluation process each semester, including creating evaluations each semester for every course section, providing instruction to students, compiling results, distributing to appropriate faculty/staff, generating statistical reports, and maintaining a secure paper and electronic filing system.
  • Managing the overall look, feel, and currency of the St. David's School of Nursing Web site. Posting informational slides/images to two digital monitors. Researching, writing and maintaining policies and procedures for the School of Nursing and posting the same on the School of Nursing's website and Nursing Faculty and Staff Canvas site.
  • Serving as Hiring Manager for all School of Nursing staff hires
  • Coordinating St. David's School of Nursing's schedule of class information each semester.
  • Serving as Timekeeper for the School of Nursing.
  • Supporting access to the School of Nursing, ordering keys, and reporting space utilization updates.
  • Supporting the School of Nursing's Faculty Assembly.
  • Working on special projects as assigned by the Director of the School of Nursing, including, but not limited to, accreditation visits.
