About the Role:

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented and motivated New Business Account Director to expand our client base and drive business growth.


What You'll Do:

As the New Business Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, targeting, and acquiring new business opportunities within the automotive industry


Your responsibilities will include:

Market Research and Strategy:


  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential automotive brands and OEMs that could benefit from our retail fixtures, environments, and digital solutions.
  • Deeply understand the client's business model and how it's performing.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:


  • Identify key decisionmakers and stakeholders within target organizations and initiate contact to introduce our products and services.
  • Create best practice approach to new client development.

Consultative Selling:


  • Develop a deep understanding of potential clients' needs, pain points, and business objectives.
  • Tailor our solutions to align with clients' unique requirements, positioning the value and benefits of our offerings effectively.

Client Presentations and Proposals:


  • Create compelling and customized presentations that showcase our products' capabilities and how they can address the specific needs of each potential client.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to prepare comprehensive proposals that outline solutions, pricing, timelines, and implementation plans.
  • Handle client contracts, confidentiality agreements, and master service agreements.

Relationship Building:


  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key contacts and decisionmakers throughout the sales process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Sales Pipeline Management:


  • Manage and track sales opportunities within CRM systems, ensuring accurate and uptodate records of interactions, negotiations, and progress.
  • Regularly report on sales pipeline status, forecast potential deals proportional to achieving revenue targets, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Track win/loss ratios and pursuit metrics

Collaboration and Feedback:


  • Collaborate closely with marketing, innovation, strategy, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, offerings, and client expectations.
  • Provide valuable feedback from the field to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

What We're Looking For:


  • 810 years of experience with a proven track record of successful B2B sales, preferably in the automotive industry or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of retail fixtures, environments, and instore digital is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and results oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to client locations (approx. 40%). Travel also includes trade shows, conferences, etc.
