Dental Impression Analysis:
Evaluate dental impressions received from dentists to determine the type and scope of dental models required.
- Model Preparation: Pour dental stone or other suitable materials into the impressions to create accurate and stable dental models.
- Trim and Finish: Trim excess material from the models and refine the surfaces to ensure accuracy and smoothness.
- Articulation: Articulate dental models using an articulator to simulate the patient's bite and occlusal relationships.
- Model Repairs and Modifications: Make necessary repairs or modifications to dental models as requested by dentists or dental technicians.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished dental models for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.
- Record Keeping: Maintain proper documentation and recordkeeping of the models created, including patient information and specific details.
