The city of Erkelenz is currently seeking several:

Specialists for Pool Operations (f/m/d):

for the ERKA-Bad.

The positions are classified according to pay group 5 or, if applicable, with the additional function of shift management, according to pay group 6 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD).

The individual classification will be based on personal qualifications. These are part-time or full-time positions. For full-time employment, the regular working hours are 39 hours per week. The working hours are based on the opening and event times of the swimming pool.

Your main tasks include:

Supervision and monitoring of pool operations
Assistance and advice for pool guests
Implementation of animation/fitness programs and swimming lessons for all age groups
Performance of organizational, safety, and administrative tasks
Cleaning and disinfection work
Maintenance and upkeep of the pool and technical facilities

Additional tasks for shift management:

Coordination of shift schedules
Independent maintenance of pool operations

Your profile:

Completed training as a specialist for pool operations
Valid proof of DLRG rescue qualification

You also bring with you:

Knowledge of laws and regulations in the areas of occupational safety, environmental protection, technical operational safety, accident prevention, and health protection
Customer and service orientation
First aid knowledge
Teamwork skills and visitorfriendly
