Training as a Process Technologist in Vienna 2024 (m|w|d)

Tasks:

  • Monitoring, control and regulation of production processes and systems in non-ferrous metal production and steel production
  • Handling of production protocols and production schedules
  • Recording and evaluation of operating data and process control representations
  • Identification and implementation of measures to eliminate disruptions in production processes
  • Maintenance of machines and systems during production changes and restarts
  • Conducting tapping and slagging of molten metal, as well as maintenance measures for production machines and systems
  • Application of quality assurance measures
  • Securing, storing and transporting materials, operating resources and production products
Training content & structure:
  • The first year of training begins with the basic course in metal, where fundamentals are taught such as manual skills, working with machining machines, and insights into welding, control and regulation technology
  • From the second year of training, the training takes place in the company, where our specialists impart specialized content and prepare the process technologists for the exams
  • The training lasts 3.5 years and takes place in Vienna or Siegen (steel forming) and ends with the final exam before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK)
