Job DescriptionLHH is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client in Conover, NC on a direct hire basis. This position is hybrid – working onsite 3 days a week and working from home 2 days a week after training is complete. They ideally would love to grow this position into a Controller eventually
Responsibilities:
· Weekly and monthly reporting
· Weekly close activities
· Journal entries
· General ledger
· Reconciliations
· Ensuring SOX compliance
· Assisting with inventory
· Assisting with AP and AR
· Additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
· At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups)
· Must be organized and detail oriented
Compensation:
· The anticipated pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000 depending on experience. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and more.
Work site:
· Hybrid; 3 days in office, 2 days work from home
