DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Under close supervision, this position is responsible for providing subcontract support to one or more business units.
  • Areas of responsibility may include source evaluation, source selection, and terms and conditions for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to provide for subcontract awards in accordance with company policy and department standard operating procedures.
  • May select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts. Responds to routine inquiries and may participate in cost and pricing reviews with program management.
  • Assist in the preparation, analysis and evaluation of bids and proposals to ensure they meet company policy and department operating procedures.
  • Assist in the identification of subcontract issues and participates in developing solutions.
  • May participate in negotiating and modifying standard subcontract provisions and assist in negotiating and modifying nonstandard subcontracts.
  • Reviews, drafts as necessary, and may participate in the negotiation of nondisclosure and teaming agreements.
  • Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on subcontracts, including export considerations.
  • Maintains, analyzes, updates, and develops various electronic and hard copy records.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must have a basic understanding of acquisition principles, theories and concepts.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
  • The ability to follow policy and procedures as well as detailed instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to accurately document and report findings to a limited audience.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees.
  • Good computer skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential, as is the ability to travel as required.

Salary:
$51,650 - $87,290
