    Come join us at Heritage at Irene Woods, as we are currently seeking a Cook with a hospitality focus to be part of our team. This role involves full-scope, hands-on production cooking within the Community Culinary Services Department, ensuring a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

    Here are some of the key responsibilities of the Cook position:
    • Maintaining Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization consistently.
    • Ensuring adherence to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
    • Preparing and serving menu cycle programs that meet required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as per regulations.
    • Demonstrating proficiency in cooking preparation and production.
    • Assisting in meal service and ware washing when necessary.
    • Conducting periodic evaluations of food service quality and making operational adjustments as needed.
    • Presenting the community in a welcoming manner to enhance the marketing environment.
    • Supporting a culture that enhances top-line revenue and occupancy through business decisions and employee engagement.
    Key qualifications we are looking for:
    • High school diploma.
    • Preferably a Culinary degree.
    • Minimum one year of restaurant/senior living cooking experience or equivalent.
