    About the Job: Inova Health System's Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join the Imaging team. This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 2:00pm-10:30pm, including Holidays. Eligible candidates may enjoy a Sign-on Bonus & Relocation assistance.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Communicating with patients effectively
    • Assisting physicians in examinations
    • Ensuring patient safety during procedures
    • Performing routine maintenance of imaging equipment
    • Acting as a resource to students and other technologists
    • Teaching radiography principles
    • Demonstrating proper technique for IV contrast injection
    • Performing Point of Care Whole Blood Creatinine testing

    Requirements:

    • Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm with Holidays
    • Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus
    • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography, MRI certification, or nuclear medicine with MRI training
    • Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment
    • Certifications including ARRT, ARMRIT or CAMRT, and BLS from the AHA
