At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a Construction Manager for Structural Engineering (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Cologne.Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the repair/renewal of railway bridges, other engineering structures, tunnels, and earthworks, as well as for technical supervision
- As a Construction Manager, you ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality implementation of assigned construction projects, even under challenging technical and operational conditions
- You represent the Senior Construction Manager in technical and operational matters, as well as in commercial affairs
- Your tasks also include coordinating and collaborating with the responsible safety authorities, internal service providers, and creating safety plans and construction and operating instructions
- You are responsible for completing construction documents, managing the cost center of the assigned area, and ensuring the most cost-effective use of resources
- You ensure compliance with laws, risk assessments, accident prevention regulations, relevant guidelines, and recognized rules of technology
- You have completed further training as an IHK Master in Metal, or are a state-certified technician in Civil Engineering, or a master craftsman in Metal, or have completed an apprenticeship as a master or technician in a technical field and have many years of professional experience
- We expect excellent knowledge and experience in railway
