Description
Must have a valid drivers licenseDuties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs of clients
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with transportation to appointments or social activities
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with social workers and healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Skills:
- Experience working as a caregiver or in a related field
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices
- Ability to drive and valid driver's license
- Familiarity with administering medication
- Understanding of working with individuals with autism or other special needs
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
