Head of Admissions and Enrollment Management

(m/f/d)

(Pay grade 11 TV-L/ Salary group A 12 LBesO NRW)

with a possibility of being transferred to a civil servant position according to the NRW Civil Service Act. The position is evaluated according to salary group A 12 LBesO NRW.

The Admissions and Enrollment Management department is part of the Student Services at Hochschule Bochum, a service institution with administrative, legal, and advisory tasks.

Student Services advises and supports prospective and current students throughout their entire student life cycle and also includes the Central Student Advisory Service, the International Office, and the centralized examination offices/student offices.

Your responsibilities:

You will lead the Admissions and Enrollment Management department of Student Services, currently consisting of five employees, and be responsible for organizing and coordinating all admissions and enrollment processes, as well as developing and implementing corresponding organizational measures and processes, including the use of the HIS software.

Your tasks also include making decisions on fundamental matters and providing advice and information to students in complex individual cases, including issuing decisions, even in appeal procedures.

You are responsible for implementing legal changes into the university's study regulations and into administrative practice.
