Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for flowers and design, we would love to hear from you.


Duties:

• Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays.
• Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements to meet their needs
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering suggestions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Setting up large scale displays such as balloon displays.
• Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
• Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers according to established design principles
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Assist with general store duties such as stocking shelves, operating the cash register, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of different types of flowers and their care requirements
• Strong artistic abilities with an eye for color, texture, and composition
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Familiarity with retail sales processes including cash handling and pointofsale systems (POS)
• Basic understanding of retail math for pricing and inventory management
• Experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is beneficial but not required

$10.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
• Merchandising: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
