The Staff Accountant role will be responsible for maintaining financial and business transactions and applying accounting principles. This work involves the ability to analyze, evaluative and advise and requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements and prepare various audit schedules
Post cash to account receivable
Prepare, review, and approve adjusting journal entries
Prepare and review account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
Capital Expenditure project tracking, recording, and reporting
Prepare monthly financial reporting to support the company's line of credit
Prepare monthly state sales tax returns via Avalara
Accumulate and assimilate information for yearly renewal of insurance policies
Assist A/R and A/P in researching and resolving problems

Required Education, Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting
Proficient Excel (intermediate), Word and Power Point skills
ERP experience
General Ledger Experience
Sound understanding of accounting principles.

This is an On-Site role

Salary $55,000 - $70,000
