Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's established Team in Greensboro, NC. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in accounting and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00p m

Salary: $55,000-$65,000

Job Duties:

Inventory control for both Domestic and Foreign Sales

Sales – both domestic and Foreign
Inventory system to track inventory
Reconcile with QuickBooks Monthly

General Duties

Sweeps, Checking, Lockbox maintenance and reconciliations
Positive Pay for all checks
General Ledger maintenance/entries
Banking
Incoming/Outgoing Wires, ACH, Lockbox deposits
Daily Cash Reports
Sweeps, Checking, Lockbox maintenance and reconciliations
Positive Pay for all checks
Fund transfers

Accounts Payable

Pay invoices as required to secure purchase discounts
Process invoices via check, wire, ACH

Accounts Receivable

Process Billings to clients for Domestic and foreign sales
Invoice storage invoices to clients monthly

Sales commissions

Keep track of Sales commissions for export sales
Pay agent sales as required

Reports

Weekly AR and AP reports
Inventory reports
Month-end GL reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement)

Company Credit Card

Reconcile and pay monthly bills
Keep track of Legal and other outside professional entities

Payroll

ADP Payroll Processing (Bi-monthly)

Qualifications:

Associate's in accounting or a business-related field is preferred
5+ years of accounting experience is required
Knowledge of QuickBooks systems is required
Must have strong MS Excel skills
Detail oriented
