This position reports to the Director of Research and works closely with the other CTFB research and data staff, the programs and services teams, the Feeding America Service Insights network, and other external stakeholders -including our community partners - to grow CTFB's capacity to collect and utilize client insights to inform strategy and initiatives.


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in data analytics, statistics, social sciences, public health or another related field
  • 2+ years of proven experience providing capacity building on client data collection and reporting in an applied setting (preferably healthcare or social services)
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis, data visualizations, and reporting
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Effective and clear communication skills
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Values the voice of the community and project stakeholders in research design and interpretation
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English
  • At least some familiarity with a variety of training modalities, including but not limited to oneonone instruction, classroomstyle instruction, webinars, workshops, preceptorships, and creating training videos
  • Experience working at a food bank or in the food system sector preferred
  • Belief in CTFB's mission, vision, values and culture
  • Display a willingness and desire to work with people from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds
  • Display a commitment to service above all else

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation and rollout of CTFB's Service Insights project.
  • Support client feedback strategy efforts including collecting client surveys and conducting client interviews
  • Explore and use diverse data visualization techniques and strategies that can support knowledge dissemination and decisionmaking.
  • Build and manage relationships with key internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Support data quality for internal client services and network, including implementing strategies that build capacity for enhanced data quality. This includes leading client data workgroups with program staff and partners to better understand needs and barriers related to client data collection and use and inform solutions through a participatory approach.
  • Create clientfacing documents in both English and Spanish to support client data collection and quality.
  • Liaison with the Data and Analytics team to stay abreast of new developments and features in electronic client intake platform, its shortcomings, implications on data interpretation, and explore and test out changes and features that could enhance data entry and use.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, data gathering, and completion of goals, metrics and deadlines.
  • Commit to supporting CTFB's mission, vision, values, and culture.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary and/or requested.

Working Conditions

Hours of Operation: Generally
Monday
  • Friday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m with hybrid work schedule. Some weekend hours may be required to support training on client intake activities at CTFBrun distributions and partner agencies.

Environment: This position requires sitting for long periods of the time, utilizing computers, laptops, and other technology._ _This position will also require site visits, delivering offsite trainings, attending distributions and other service delivery events._ _The position also requires working alone and with others on a team.

Travel: CTFB serves 21 counties in central Texas and often requires same-day travel between counties, using a personal vehicle, CTFB passenger fleet and possibly occasional out of town travel for meetings, or special events.
