Job Description Salary:
The

Senior Project Manager

must be a highly motivated, adaptable and experience in multiple aspects of construction. The SPM must have proven leadership capabilities with high ethical standards and the skills to lead and develop others.

The SPM must be able to lead, manage, and coordinate all phases of a multiple projects ranging in size through the entire pre-construction, construction and close out phases.

This shall be done while collaborating and training other Project Managers and/or Assistant Project Managers.

Work with the Field Operations Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure all company protocols are followed.

Work and communicate with Field Operations Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure quality and safety expectations, schedule, and the overall customer experience is on target to ensure Martin Concrete as the preferred sub-contractor for their next job.

Ensure monthly pay requests and schedule of values are done
Cost tracking for sequential costing, ensure costs are coded correctly and matching budgeted cost
Job Cost
Communicate with upper management to develop strategic programs and project
Create and manage project's budgets and
Monitor project (i.e., schedule, quality, safety, labor costs, budget, customer satisfaction, and all other aspects that could affect the project's outcome)
Work with the Pre-Construction Department to secure
Oversee the project turnover from the Estimating Department to the Project Management Department during the preconstruction phase.

Coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team and ensuring that Martin Concrete is creating growth opportunities to achieve both individual and company goals and objectives.

Be the first line large problem liaison between Martin Concrete and the

This position reports to the Project Executives with close ties to the Field Operations Managers & General Superintendent.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field
Proficient in MS Project and/or Primavera and the MS Office Suite of products
Extensive knowledge of the building development industry
Familiarity with construction methods and the building codes
Ability to independently identify and resolve complex issues
Knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting
7+ years of relevant work experience in large concrete construction
Extensive knowledge of concrete practices, formwork systems, means and methods
In depth knowledge of project safety and OSHA standards
Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Strong multi‐tasking and organizational skills
Driven to learn more about the technical aspect of concrete construction
Ability to travel/temporarily relocate to jobsites outside of office area
Assist with jobsite supervision as necessary including potential weekends
Training of Project Engineers, APM's, PM I, and PM II's
Assist team members with problem solving and project planning on their projects
Assist estimating team with estimate review and pre-bid project planning
Participate in new project interviews with estimating and operations teams
Involvement in multi-departmental teams to review, refine and develop MCC Processes and Procedures
Independently manage a larger number of projects and revenue
