Medical Assistant for Breast Center in Beverly Hills


Beautiful practice in Beverly Hills seeks a positive, friendly, hardworking Medical Assistant with a can-do attitude to join our team.

In this position you will work under the direction of surgeon and physician assistants to assist in the care of patients with breast and other healthcare issues.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Rooming patients and setting up exam rooms
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  • Communicating basic procedure and surgery information to patients
  • Preparing patients for surgery
  • Stocking rooms and ordering supplies
  • Retrieving and sending medical records
  • Assisting surgery coordinator with preoperative duties
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Physical demands:

  • Perceptive acuity and physical ability to perform all direct and indirect patient care functions including:
  • Walking
  • Sitting
  • Standing
  • Bending
  • Light lifting
Skills/Qualifications

  • 2+ years of medical assisting experience, preferably in a concierge medical setting
  • Proven time management, ability to multitask, initiative, organizational, and followup skills
  • Experience with EMR (Nextech software experience a plus)
  • A cando attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift

  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
