- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Clean up the station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Ability to use hands and fingers in grasping, pinching, chopping, pulling, and lifting motions associated with preparing and cooking products using knives, utensils and cookware
- Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to Stand for Very Long Periods of Time
- Ability to Bend, Squat & Physically React in a Prompt Manner
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or related guest service environment

Title: Snack Shop Line Cook
Reports to: Executive Chef & Snack Shop Supervisor
Position Type: Full Time & Part-Time
Pay Range: The starting pay range for this position is $ $22.00 per hour. This is the pay for this position that Outrigger Canoe Club reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends & AM/PM
Summary:
We are looking for a professional Snack Shop line cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
