Job Title: SVTC Engineer III
Location: JBAB DIAC, 200 MacDill Boulevard Washington, District of Columbia

Clearance Level: Active DoD - TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

Lead and support enterprise UC projects; provide UC (VoIP/VTC/DVTC) engineering and architecture development support.
Offer a high level of technical expertise for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Provide training and assistance to junior engineers/administrators/technicians as needed.
Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to address issues when required.
Implement escalation protocols and personal judgment for timely issue resolution.
Handle escalated trouble tickets from the Service Desk.
Participate in on-call shift rotations with department members.
Deploy and troubleshoot VOIP equipment like Cisco UC equipment.
Deploy and troubleshoot VOIP tools such as Jabber, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC).
Supervise technical staff and subordinate managers.
Develop cutting-edge techniques for designing and troubleshooting complex computer operating hardware systems.
Design UC/VoIP operating systems and architectures, specify requirements, and devise implementation strategies.
Identify and resolve complex hardware/software interface issues and provide expertise on emerging technologies.
Lead the development, engineering, integration, and testing of all components of hardware/software UC/VoIP systems.
Conduct system trade analyses to optimize UC/VoIP system operations over the life cycle.

Required Certifications:
Must hold current DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNP (or equivalent) certifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in a DoD or IC environment is preferred.

Work Environment:

Contractor site with 0%-10% travel potential.
Possible off-hours work for releases and outages.
General office environment.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary job with occasional standing and walking.
May involve lifting light objects.
