What you will do in your apprenticeship

In your apprenticeship, you will learn how to collect, edit, visualize, and derive topographic maps from geodata.

After completing your apprenticeship, you will be able to work with geographic information systems and data models, merge geodata and factual data, update the various 3D geodata of Bavaria, and prepare them professionally for clients and events.

In addition, you will acquire the necessary skills for press and media work, as well as for content management of our websites and social media channels.

Your dual vocational training

The dual form of training offers a lot of variety. This means that your training will take place in various departments at our location in Munich.

Some training periods will take place at the locations in Windischeschenbach (Digital Maps of Bavaria) and Waldsassen (Geo-database of Bavaria), as well as at the vocational school in Munich.

In addition to training with us, you will learn the theory for your everyday work at the vocational school.

As an apprentice, you will be integrated into the daily work routine after an introductory phase with our trainers.

Depending on your level of knowledge, you will take on tasks that support the ongoing operations, as well as practice tasks to try out your skills.
