Position Overview:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the firm's ability to effectively provide service to our clients and our staff.

Collaboration:Work closely with other team members and departments, including the bookkeeping department, tax preparers, and administrators, to support overall office operations. This includes assisting with special yearly projects and producing complex documents.

Data Entry:Accurately enter client information into our firm management software and QuickBooks Online. Organize and maintain physical and digital client files in compliance with company policies. Always ensure confidentiality, security, and proper handling of client documents.

Processing:Receive, review, and process tax documents including returns, and forms. Processes and assembles tax returns and other deliverables, both in paper and digital formats. Verify the accuracy and completeness of tax forms and supporting tax documents. Identify and suggest improvements to streamline processing procedures and enhance efficiency.

Quality Control:Manage workflow to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies. Conduct quality checks on completed tax returns to identify errors or discrepancies. Collaborate with tax professionals to resolve any issues and ensure accuracy. Ensure all processed documents meet established quality standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
Tax experience (13 years) preferred.
Accounts Payable experience preferred.
Managerial experience preferred.
Knowledge of workflow management ERP software preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with QuickBooks Online and accounting software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.

Health insurance, dental & vision insurance eligibility, and a 401K retirement savings plan with employer match are available 90 days after the start date. Vacation time accrues immediately once you start but cannot be used until the end of the 90day Probationary Period.

Salary:

The starting pay range is $23 $30 per hour depending on experience.
