Experience / Qualifications
- Prior DME/Respiratory order processing experience preferred.
- Medical billing experience preferred
- Experience using automated healthcare billing system preferred.
- Knowledge of customer service principles, practices and professionalism.
- Experience in a customer service environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of DME respiratory related order processing and billing practices.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial carrier claims requirements.
- Able to effectively communicate with payor claims processing personnel and case managers.
- Strong and effective customer and interdepartmental communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks required
- Spanish speaking preferred
You will be working as part of a dynamic team of individuals who provide services for patients with unique and medically complex health issues.
You will speak with families, nurses, case managers and insurance companies to meet the needs of our clients.You will be responsible for creating, verifying and completing monthly supply orders, as well as obtaining all necessary prescriptions and authorizations for our home based clients.
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
