    Description

    Job DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

    Starbucks Global Cyber Security Group is responsible for engineering and designing Identity, Privileged Access, and Directory Service systems to meet business goals encompassing a wide range of technologies that align with Starbucks Strategy & Architecture.

    This role involves leading the Engineering team in designing, developing, and managing critical services. As a senior information security engineer, you will guide the team in deployments, proactively enhance identity services, and mentor junior engineers.

    This position will be a technical expert in Identity technologies within a global enterprise, requiring a highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take ownership. The individual must work hands-on, independently, and thrive in a fast-paced global setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical leadership to ensure stable, secure, and compliant solutions.
    • Create plans for lifecycle and capacity management for Azure Cloud, PKI (ADCS), and centralized Identity Authorization.
    • Collaborate with tech vendors for business objectives.
    • Advise on Operational IT Management areas.
    • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    • Work successfully in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Establish collaborative relationships with partners.

    Experience Summary:

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

    • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
    • 8+ years of experience in designing identity solutions for large enterprises.
    • Hands-on experience in Privileged Access Management, Directory Services, and PKI.
    • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages.
    • Experience with cloud identity solutions.
    • Advanced understanding of Identity standards and protocols.
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to automate tasks using a devops approach.
    • Familiarity with IT/Security technologies.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or others related to cybersecurity.
    • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Experience with Privileged Access Maturity model concepts.
    • Knowledge of software development principles and design patterns.
    • Experience with GitHub repositories and CI/CD with Azure.
    • Expertise in Identity and Access Management engineering.
    • Experience with cloud-based services and system troubleshooting.
    • Experience in Devops/Agile environments.
    • Experience in large enterprise Identity & Access Management deployments.
    • Experience in product evaluations, planning, testing, and implementing solutions.
