- Part-Time flexible work schedule (quarterly community visits)
- Quarterly conference calls providing a summary of updates on current standards
- Trainings providing Continuing Education Credits (CEU)
- Dietitian visits are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm local time
- Depending on location multiple consulting opportunities may be available
- Sick-time benefits as required by individual state law.
- Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulations
- Quality and regulatory assurance review/audits of Food/Nutrition Services, sanitation, food storage, preparation, and dining services according to national standards
- Clinical Charting (if required in states or corporations) weights, new admits, high-risk charting
- Nutrition education and in-service training for staff development and regulatory compliance
- Implementation of the plan of corrections
- Strong but friendly communication skills both written & verbal
- Someone who works well individually and in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic computer programs
- Ability to keep sensitive information/data confidential under HIPAA guidelines
- Bachelors Degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
- Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and provide annual verification
- State Dietary License if required by state
- Maintain current licensure as required by State law
- COVID-19 Vaccination or medical/religious exemption per state/corporation guidelines
- Current TB Test

We are looking for a positive and self-motivated consulting dietitian. As a Crandall Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work with senior living communities to enhance the resident's food and nutrition experience. This involves auditing sanitation, meal service, staff development, and completing assessments on residents that have nutritional concerns. You will become a key member of the dietary team.
We are looking for dietitians to provide part-time services to Assisted Living Communities by providing semi-annual audits (6-8 hours per community/semi-annually).
