My decision to pursue the medical director role was fueled by my aspiration to elevate the standard of care to a greater extent.
The hospital operates as an open ICU, Level III Trauma with 414 beds.Our team comprises 28 physicians and two APPs with our current model being 12 daytime physicians, one swing physician, and two nocturnist physicians with one nocturnist APP.
The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off (12-hour shifts).In the evening, you ll be managing cross-coverage calls, but you ll have backup from two dedicated nocturnists who are there to support you.

The base salary is $150k along with a $5k productivity and a $10k quality bonusExcellent APP onboarding training is available.
