Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Conduct general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Utilize knowledge of governmental accounting principles for compliance
- Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate financial records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial auditing
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
