    **Basic Purpose**

    The basic purpose of this position is to manage the daily operations of a multi shift, technology driven warehouse with a focus on food safety and efficiency. The end result expected from this individual would be a smooth-running warehouse with motivated and dedicated warehouse team members. Oversee efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials which supports the plants production goals.

    **Essential Functions**

    Manage and coordinate ordering, unloading, and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork. Use WMS software to track all materials in and out of the warehouse according to company procedures;

    Train, evaluate, and supervise warehouse team members. Assign and direct work and provide guidance in performing duties with particular attention to safety, food safety, accuracy, and compliance to procedures;

    Ensure the home office and plant management have accurate inventory of finished products as well as raw materials to evaluate production activity;

    Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods are received stored and shipped in good condition according to White Castle procedures. Order, coordinate, and manage delivery of raw materials to plant floor areas where they can be used by the production team. Coordinate recycling program for cartons and other materials;

    This position must maintain and supervise an electric power equipment program that includes providing training for all team members operating electric power equipment, providing written test and visual test for team members requiring a license, monitoring daily PM checks, prioritizing problems, ensuring such items are fixed in a timely manner, and ensuring safe driving practices are used at all times;

    Ensure all raw materials and finished products are stored in a clean environment, including all inbound trailers as well as outbound trailer. Ensure company trailers are cleaned and sanitized.

    Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED is required

    Associates Degree or Bachelors degree in an applicable field is preferred

    Knowledge in WMS software-based tracking and inventory control systems

    Previous warehouse and supervisory experience are essential

    Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations on forklift operations and safety is essential

    Proficient in Microsoft Office products

    Possess good human relations skills
