We are looking for a driven, financially-minded corporate athlete to join our team. You will take on compliance, project management, and general people operations for the company.
About you:
You've got a keen eye for detail and an interest in learning all areas of a start-upYou are type A and thrive in bringing order to organizationsYou live by self-imposed deadlinesYou want to wear many hats and say "let me figure it out" by default rather than "it's not possible"You have knowledge of financial compliance including sales taxYou have experience in accounting and/or startup operationsYou have worked with software tools such as: Gusto, Lattice, etc.
Bonus points- You have experience working with international hiring-related compliance or telecom complianceYou'll be responsible for:
Handling complex compliance issues related to employment, sales, telecom, and tech privacy/securityFinding and fixing leaks in the bucket as we maintain cash-flow neutralityBuild out people-ops using 3rd party systems like Gusto and LatticeMaintain payroll and benefits administration using Gusto and Deel (virtually automated)Develop and manage budgetsManage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the monthly close process with little to no oversight via a 3rd party (at least for now)
