- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are ordered in a timely manner
- Resolve any issues with suppliers or orders
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and market conditions
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree, preferred, and 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role, or 5+ years of experience in a purchasing role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system
