Who We Need We are hiring two Community Behavioral Health Specialists to work a contract (49 weeks). Schedule would be Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm in the Phoenix area.
Salary is $41,160.**
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below:

  • Require HS Diploma/GED plus four (4) years of full-time direct care experience in behavioral health.
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid AZ Driver's License with state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copa Health's acceptable driving requirements.

JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Functions as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team to develop individual housing plans.
  • Conducts intakes and assessments, determines eligibility, and develops individualized case plans.
  • Collaboratively work with housing specialists to find permanent housing options for program participants
  • Conduct job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the members on his/her caseload following the principles and procedures of Copa Health's Supported Employment Program.
  • Links individuals/families with communitybased housing, utilizing the Housing First/Permanent Supportive Housing, EBP.
  • Educate and maintain knowledge of community resources that serve individuals with disabilities. Educates and utilizes community resources.
  • Manages financial assistance funds (security deposits, rent etc.).
  • Determines and recommends to supervisor the level of financial assistance for eligible participants.
  • Prepare requests for financial assistance and submit all required documentation to supervisor for approval.
