- Coordinate and manage the shipment of goods and cargo for domestic and international clients.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for shipping arrangements.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation including bills of lading, shipping manifests, customs documentation, and other required paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing the transportation of goods, including customs, import/export laws, and hazardous materials regulations.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
- Coordinate with carriers to arrange pickup and delivery schedules, ensuring that all parties involved are informed of any changes or updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing updates on shipment status.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and any relevant documentation for accounting and auditing purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding shipping options, costs, and timelines. REQUIRED SKILLS
