Job Summary:


We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team for the weekend shift (Saturday: 10AM - 6PM & SUN 1PM - 6PM).

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and contractors and are expected to provide exceptional customer service.

Your main responsibilities will include greeting guests, checking them in and out, and assisting with any inquiries or requests they may have.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist residents, owners, contractors, visitors, and guests.
  • Be familiar with community processes, procedures, and systems (handling of emergencies, packages, parking permits, resident information, owner information, work order, etc.).
  • Assist management with reminder calls to owners and residents about needed paperwork or other requirements
  • Assign out/accept keys.
  • Take work orders and coordinate with maintenance personnel. Followup on repairs, as necessary.
  • Maintain all desk logs (keys, etc.).
  • Maintain exterminating service list.
  • Issue parking permits.
  • Maintain a written record of incidents that occur during his/her shift.
  • Responsible for oversight and security of the key cabinet.
  • Abide by all UTC Employee rules and follow all established policies and operational procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and communicate with the maintenance staff, Builrding Engineer, or Community Manager, as necessary.
  • Responsible for security of the front desk, manager's office during the shift, and especially security of the key cabinet.
  • Schedule all moveins and moveouts in such a way that there is no conflict with use of the freight elevator on any given day in accordance with UTC's movein and moveout policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in using computer systems for order entry, calendar management, and file management
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Every weekend
  • Weekends only

Ability to Relocate:

  • Silver Spring, MD 20902: Relocate before starting work (required)
