    Area Director of Sales

    Locations - Raleigh, Wilson, & Greenville, North Carolina

    Department – Sales

    Reports to – Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing

    Role Overview

    Hey there, as the Area Director of Sales, you'll be the key player in driving revenue up in a group of hotels. Your mission includes developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, selling hotel rooms, meeting spaces, and dining services to clients, and enhancing the hotel's image in the local community.

    This role will have you representing four Hilton hotels in Wilson and Greenville, NC, with the freedom to work from either location while traveling frequently between sites.

    What You'll Be Doing Every Day

    Revenue Generation

    • Achieve revenue targets for each hotel
    • Proactively seek new business through sales calls and telemarketing
    • Work on revenue strategies for multiple hotels
    • Collaborate with the corporate team and GMs for total revenue goals
    • Implement sales and marketing plans
    • Lead revenue strategy in collaboration with other departments
    • Ensure adherence to brand standards

    Community Engagement

    • Be a face of the hotels in the community
    • Build relationships to boost brand awareness
    • Stay updated on local competition
    • Engage with community organizations and events

    Quality Assurance

    • Communicate business trends to all properties
    • Work on guest satisfaction and service quality
    • Collaborate with departments for guest service excellence
    • Review guest feedback and online reviews

    Leadership Responsibilities

    • Train team on sales and service
    • Demonstrate integrity and promote teamwork
    • Encourage team member involvement in the community
    • Implement eco-friendly practices
    • Contribute to annual Sales and Marketing plan

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years in sales management
    • Willingness to travel with a valid driver's license
    • Leadership skills and ability to work over 50 hours a week
    • Fluency in English

    Other Requirements

    • Meet revenue and RevPAR targets for all segments
    • Stay updated on sales CRM software
    • Lead hotel marketing activities
    • Attend various meetings for effective communication
    • Maintain relationships with the community
    • Ensure efficient sales office procedures
    • Attend relevant events for property promotion
    • Provide sales reports to the corporate team
