Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and maintain patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, electronically sorting and filing faxes and documents, and coordinating referrals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Adhere to medical and ethical standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
• Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
• Assist with patient education and counseling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting. Previous experience in a Gynecology practice is an advantage.
• Confidence and proficiency in managing a paperless office environment, including electronically sorting, organizing, and filing faxes and documents.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Commitment to providing highquality patient care and customer service.
