    About Our Client

    Our client is an Aerospace focused, precision machining and electro-mechanical manufacturer located west of Chicago. Backed by a multi-billion dollar parent organization, this location is a mid-sized facility with just under 100k in of AS9100 certified of production space. They have been in business for over thirty years, and have accumulated a long standing, secure client base resulting in continuous growth throughout that time.

    Job Description

  • Utilize background in CNC manufacturing to aid in production and drive eficiencies
  • Read / Interpret Blueprints and Customer Prints to Determine Manufacturability
  • Create and utilize relevant engineering documentation (BOMs, ECOs, SOPs, etc.)
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and create solutions
  • Hands on position, 85%+ on the floor - performing active troubleshooting of machinery
  • Work alongside long tenured employees and senior manufacturing leaders to learn in-house processes and preferences
  • Assist in CNC programming / troubleshooting with the use of MasterCAM

    The Successful Applicant

  • 4 Year STEM Degree Preferred, not required (Experience can make up for lack of formal degree)
  • 5+ Years of Relevant industry or machinery experience
  • CNC Programming Experience preferred (MasterCAM)
  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or LEAN traning / experience
  • Experience within a relevant industry highly preferred
  • Driven and moldable individual that can maximize in-house investment and training What's on Offer
