- Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies
- Reviews supplier purchase order confirmations for accuracy, and product selection, and mitigate any discrepancies in a timely matter
- Prepare requests for quotations to meet technical specifications and competitive pricing necessary for decisionmaking
- Monitors the timeliness of materials and goods supplied; followup on the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery; expedites material as needed and communicates status of orders with internal customers
- Utilize business intelligence dashboards and reports to prioritize and drive down key department metrics
- Publish reports and metrics as required for the Supply Chain department
- Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvements, and process efficiencies
- Process invoice discrepancies through workflow and document product returns and credits in a timely manner
What you need to qualify:
- Associate's degree in a related field/program
- One year of prior relevant experience is preferred
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel) proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven work environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail
