Robot Operator - San Francisco, United States - Physical Intelligence

Description

Seeking individuals to operate robots performing everyday tasks (pick up cups, plates, stack objects, pick up objects and place in bags, etc) at a warehouse office in the Mission.

It's kind of like a video game—you use a controller to have a robot do a task. There's absolutely no experience necessary—if you can use a computer and a video game controller, you'll do great.


Responsibilities

Other examples include controlling the robotic arms to:

• pick up grocery items and place them in a shipping bag

- pick up cups, plates, and utensils and place them in a bin
- opening and closing jars
- pick up a light bulb and screw it into a socket

There are other tasks that you may be asked to perform:

• Reviewing videos of tasks being performed and using a computer interface to describe them
• Providing feedback on videos of tasks being performed
• Opening boxes and occasional office tasks

Shifts

There are three shifts each lasting 8 hours:

• 7am-3pm PT
• 3pm11pm PT
• 11pm7am PT
