Looking for someone more than just sitting at the desk and addressing tickets. Someone that want to help people and can do both helpdesk and desktop support, walking over to a user to help them with their issue.
Someone that has prior Corporate environment in IT experience.
We have a variety of tools they should be familiar with like Okta, Zoom, Slack, as well as MS Products.
We have a lot of onsite events - currently all Zoom shop in conference rooms that some users have issues with and need someone that may have a little AV experience as well.
people/users coming in to the Austin office on a daily basis. There is also a soft request to go back to office for employees living 30 miles from the office, thus it could go up to 600 users. The busiest day is Wednesdays since we offer free lunch Wednesdays. They will support Austin and also other offices (example NY office)
Environment:
60% MAC
40% PC/Windows
Interview Process (2 zoom video)
Tickets and onsite troubleshooting
Dell is windows
Apple is Mac
Hardware is not worked on beyond troubleshooting
Software then will do the best to fix
JIRA Service Desk for ticketing (other tools are fine)
More of a mid-level role. should have worked in some sort of corporate environment
Interact with C-Level executives
