"JOB SUMMARY
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Duties and Responsibilities_
- Prepare compelling and wellstructured grant proposals and documents for both new and existing funders.
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with our organizational goals.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on progress and outcomes of grantfunded initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on grantfunded initiatives' progress and outcomes.
- Partner with the Director of Development and Communications, Grants and Contracts Manager, and Program Staff to seek new funding opportunities.
- Manage a funding deadline calendar/database, including proposals and reports.
- Generate written materials for special projects under the Director of Development and Communications.
- Craft Letters of Inquiry (LOIs), grant proposals, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Compose grant submissions for federal, state, corporate, and foundation donors.
- Track grant proposal development and activities and oversee fund allocation and program tracking
- Cultivate and nurture partnerships with foundations, government, and private funders.
- Schedule and participate in meetings and fundraising events as needed.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local funding prospects.
STATEMENT OF SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree a plus.
- Minimum 1 year grant writing experience required, 2 years preferred.
- Proficient research capabilities for identifying appropriate grant prospects.
- Exceptional writing skills with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills for managing multiple grants and RFPs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
- Spreadsheet and donor database knowledge. Donorperfect experience is a plus.

Pay:
$65, $70,000.00 per year
