    JOB DESCRIPTION



    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



    • Collaborate with different departments to comprehend NOV products' operation, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting methods.
    • Visit customer locations to check, set up, test, calibrate, fix, and train customers on using NOV products safely.
    • Upgrade software and hardware on-site and educate customers on operating procedures.
    • Report field issues and feedback to relevant departments.
    • Submit field service reports promptly.
    • Perform assigned tasks as required.
    • Abide by NOV Company and HSE regulations.

    GROUP-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES



    • Set up, troubleshoot, and repair drilling equipment.
    • Provide training to fellow NOV Field Service Technicians.
    • Provide progress reports to appropriate personnel.
    • Assist in the repair shop as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS



    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Understanding of hydraulic schematics and basic electrical drawings.
    • 3-5 years of mechanical experience.
    • Familiarity with rig floor equipment especially Top Drives and Iron Rough Necks.
    • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

    REQUIREMENTS



    • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
    • Provided transportation to customer sites.
    • 24/7 on-call availability.
    • Work in challenging environments like rain, snow, heat, and heights over 150 feet.
    • Pass drug screening & background check.
