Huntington Learning Center (dba Dalgaard & Associates), we are a leader in the educational service industry.
Since 1977, we have provided core learning essentials:
reading, writing, math (STEM in general) and specific areas of tutor support. We work hand-in-hand with the teachers of K through 12, to help students at all levels achieve their objectives. We also help students prep for ACT/SAT exams.
For success as a Learning Center Manager, you should have:
- 1-3 years of Management, Customer Service, Sales or Education experience preferred
- An enthusiastic, outgoing, and teamoriented personality
- Motivation to take the initiative to ensure that a student's time at Huntington is memorable.
- Outstanding communication skills are a must
- A confident and flexible demeanor
- The ability to work in a fastpaced environment with high levels of selfmotivation

The Center Manager responsibilities include:
- Monitor the Center's daily activity. Manage frontend administrative office
- Hire, train, schedule and supervise parttime teachers.
- Review student programs and ensure academic achievement
- Instruct students.
- Participate in local marketing activities to help grow the business.
- Conducting monthly followup parent conferences
- Meeting regularly with schoolteachers and guidance counselors on behalf of Huntington students
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and making alterations to individual student programs as required
- Participating in local community and schoolbased marketing initiatives
- Administering initial evaluations and assisting new students
