Become part of our international team. The Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB) is an interdisciplinary research institute for applied mathematics and data-intensive high-performance computing (HPC). The research focuses on modeling, simulation, and optimization in collaboration with scientific cooperation partners from science and industry. The focus here is on providing research infrastructures for virtualization, HPC, storage, web services, data networks, and more. For the Core Facility IT & Data Services (ITDS), we are looking for a permanent employee (m/f/d) for enterprise hardware administration and integration as soon as possible, reference number: A to TV-L E %)


Your tasks:
You work in a highly dynamic environment in research IT. Technological advancement and changes are part of your daily business. You are also responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of our data center infrastructure. High-performance servers, AI inference systems, scale-out storage architectures, Infiniband, 100 Gbit Ethernet are your passion. You plan, procure, install, operate, and monitor our high-end enterprise technology or complement our team of 20.

You perform error analyses and repairs, help with the assembly of IT systems of all kinds, both in the front and back end.
