Job Summary:


The Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Air Dominance Business Office is seeking an experienced and motivated financial analyst looking to expand their leadership skills within the sustainment portfolio of the Air Dominance SSBU.

This subset of the portfolio consists of both fixed-price and cost-type contracts and ranges from discrete Engineering labor to interaction with the factory on material order coverage, HPU forecasting and delivery-based invoicing.


These programs employ roughly 175 FTEs, include annual sales of more than $75M, and has a total value of >$300M over the next five years.

You must be able to work full-time onsite in Tucson, AZ (Relocation provided)


Responsibilities to Anticipate:


  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to early career analysts
  • Drive collaboration with your program team to develop quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC); and support related financial forecasting.
  • Maintain coordination with program leadership and factory management for unit delivery plans, keeping these tied to key financial forecasting metrics (sales, receipts, etc.)
  • Partnering successfully and driving influence with program IPL and strategic partners regarding all aspects of program execution and strategy.
  • Work successfully with program and functional partners to properly manage, report, and close multiple contracts within the program area. This includes working with billing, supply chain, contracts, and other support team members on a recurring basis.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
  • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience
  • Experience in SAP APEX and the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
  • Experience interfacing, conducting business, and working collaboratively with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, etc.) in a cross matrix organization.
  • Experience operating in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience handling a high volume of priorities and maintain on time delivery
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with SAP (APEX/PRISM)
  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills and the ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight to include internal and external (USG, DCMA) communications
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Experience with Raytheon Program Management (PMX) Tool Suite
  • Experience with Estimate at Completes (EACs) and EDIT+
  • Experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools
  • Experience with accounting policies and processes (contract closeout, EACs, BSEC, etc.)
  • Experience with invoicing best practices or cancelling funds
